What you can expect from this situation?
This may not be considered
human subjects research. You will need to refer to the Classroom-Based
Research section and possibly complete the "Determination of Human
Research Worksheet" form.

- If your study meets the four criteria and does not fall into one of
the three exception categories, you do not need to obtain IRB
approval.
- If your study does not meet the four approval criteria, or does
fall into one of the three exception categories, you may need IRB
approval. However, we recommend that you submit a
Determination of Human Research Worksheet to confirm.
Do you need to complete CITI Training?
No. To submit a
Determination or Human Research Worksheet form, you do not have to
complete CITI training. However, if it is determined that your study
meets the criteria for human subjects research, you will need to
complete the CITI training.
What else do you need to submit with your application?
You will not be required to upload any additional documents.
