The HRPP Office conducts periodic review of policies and procedures (SOPs). The SOPs have been updated where appropriate and went into effect on September 10, 2024. A summary of changes is available below. The updates include removing DoD and most VA research policies and publishing those policy requirements on the HRPP website; adding policy for remote consent; and other changes to enhance information and understanding of existing policies. Faculty, staff, and all individuals engaging in human subjects research should familiarize themselves with the updated information.
