Ergonomics is the science of designing a workplace to fit the worker, rather than vice versa. It is about creating a safe and comfortable environment that allows workers to perform their tasks efficiently and without injury.
Ergonomically designed work stations can reduce pain and discomfort, improve posture, prevent musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), and increase job satisfaction and productivity.
